Free Entrance Days in the National Parks!



The National Park Service just turned 100 years old! To celebrate, the National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone 10 days this year.  The first of which is Martin Luther King Jr. day on January 16th.

Additional Free Entrance Days for 2017 are:



February 20th: Presidents’ Day
April 15th-16th and 22nd-23rd: Weekends of National Park Week
August 25th:
August 25th: National Park Service Birthday
September 30th: National Public Lands Day
November 11th-12th: Veterans Day Weekend


The fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. All other fees are not included unless stated otherwise.
